In My Shoes

By Elizabeth Ventura

It’s the question I get asked more than any other these days: “Should I invest in the Philippines right now?”. Given the uncertainties in the world right now and the countless headlines that people read about the market, I understand why some may have doubts.

But for me, the more useful question isn’t “Is now a good time?”, but “Am I looking at this the right way?”

Hype fades. Trends change. And time only moves forward. What remains, after the noise settles and people move on from the hype, are the decisions that were made with discipline. That’s what actually endures.

Building that discipline starts with taking a step back from trends or market noise, and weighing your opportunities from every angle. By asking the right questions and seeking the right perspectives, you can make sure that your decisions are grounded not in hype, but in the practical, on-the-ground realities.

And I’ve seen how this generation of property seekers is now doing just that – asking smarter, sharper questions about what they choose to invest in. They are not just looking for eye-catching designs or better amenities anymore. While quality still matters, of course, what investors are evaluating now is the business model. They want to know how the business will be operated, what kind of demand drives it.

Through sharing conversations with investors, I’ve seen how their approaches have changed over time

And this is really the philosophy behind my advocacy, The Proper-TY Decision. With these shifts, what investors need more than ever is sound financial guidance with genuine care and clarity about the market. So that they can go from reacting out of anxiety or the fear of missing out, to building lasting wealth on their own terms.

I founded The Proper-TY Decision to provide investors with a space for more open and honest conversations about investing and the market

At the end of the day, regardless of any outside forces or market fluctuations, investing in real estate rewards those who let education come before execution. In investing, as with anything in life, success comes to those whose clarity guides their choices and whose long-term vision outweighs any short-term fear or excitement.

And if you have any questions of your own or if you would like to go deeper into this, I encourage you to join us at the upcoming USA roadshow of The Proper-TY Decision masterclass by signing up at propertydecision.com.ph. I’d love to continue the conversation with you there.
